The map will be set after the end of the world humanity as we know it will be dead and you will have to scavenge for supplies team up or fight to survive the harsh wasteland that lies before you.
There will be no trees on the map... Huh how will this work you may be thinking the way players will have to get most of there resources is by scavenging from the ruined city's that will be spread across the map the map will be a barren wasteland with no natural life growing.
There will be secret places you can find in the ruins call B.T.A vaults this stands for before the apocalypse these will be vaults set up by the government before the world ended to aid in the existence of man these vaults will be reset once every 48 hours and contain various goodies to aid your survival.
There will be NPC settlements where you can go to trade and be safe from monsters and NPC stronghold which you can raid to steal there treasure and goods, if you think your good enough. Or complete quests for fellow survivors for in game currency. There will be bandit patrol's that will roam around the ruined city waiting for poor souls to prey on. Ambushes will be waiting for you if you enter the city's unarmed you WILL die.
Build a home with defenses or claim one of the many ruined buildings and live your life as a survivor or a bandit. Help the world rebuild from the ashes or become a bandit and watch it burn as you become rich
Materials you take for granted will become rare and sometimes killing or stealing from someone is the only way to survive in this ruined society.
Ruins from before the apocalypse will be spread across the map from huge city's to small towns, boats sunk into the sand where an ocean used to be, half submerged library's in a lava pool, all lakes, puddles, seas, rivers will be replaced with lava.

the fallout radiation has killed everything
-note i later learned that the mini explosions caused by all the other things contributed to the contunral death of the environment,thats why places with no electronics have plant life
