This is a form of survival map I'd like to call paradise survival. Surrounded by huge beautiful structures made from nearly purposeless materials and four floating island chains with hard to reach resources, how well can you survive. This would also work well for multiplayer pvp. The map is currently in creative mode, but this can be changed with conversion programs.
I constructed the structures on my own in MCEdit. I am aware that some see this as cheating, but I could never do this on my own without it.
The floating islands were constructed using a laborious process of falling sand and an alternating process of the topsoil filter in MCEdit. This is not the easiest way to do this, but I think it gives a cool effect. These islands were created by me long ago and can be found here.
