Welcome to the Archdale Citadel!

This is an adventure map where you fill the role of an explorer, who just discovered what appears to be the remains of a medieval city. Scavenge for armor, weapons, and food in secret chests to find out if you have what it takes to escape the Archdale Citadel.

The object of the map is to get through the Citadel and to the finish line. (Or... room... I suppose) However, this will not be easy, in fact, this map is VERY hard. You will die, over and over and over again. Try to recover your items before they despawn. If your items disappear, you have two options: A. Continue without whatever equipment you had on you, or B. Restart the map. It is advised that you make multiple copies of the map file in order to make restarting the map easier, which you may have to do a lot, because it is possible to FAIL should a key you need despawn, and there are a finite amount. (Probably best to put those in the ender chests scattered around hmm?)

This is a very brief overview of what you should expect from this map... oh yeah, this is very important. Unless you want to play in HARD MODE, with no shops, I recommend installing the Custom Trades Mod for 1.12 on 9minecraft (copy and paste that into the web browser and it should be the first result)

The map is possible without the mod, but it will make emeralds (The main currency) worthless, and gear will have to be found in hidden chests and not bought.
