So being the person I am I love archery. Not just in real life but in Minecraft aswell. Anyways since I like archery so much I decided that I am going to be making some maps related to archer. I am thinking of doing some archery ranges of different syles. I am also thinking of doing some minigames or maps that have to do with archery.
So ya. This is the first of many ranges I am working on. It is pretty simple and it has 4 targets. They go back 10 blocks every target. Once you hit the paintings on the center of the target the painting falls onto the pressure plates below the target. That activates the lights infront of you along with activating the despenser behind you giving you either a diamond or emerald as a reward.
As for some rules and some problems with the map. First off you have to stand on the iron block. Thats not just so you are at the right distance but its also because at the last target the painting cannot be seen from further away. As for the problems there is only one. Sometimes when you hit the painting it will miss the pressure plates so you will either have to reset the painting or just throw it onto the pressure plates. There is also a stair at the area were you fire from so you can get back up. Of course this problem only occurs from 25-50 percent of the time.
That pretty much all but there will be a ton of archery maps from me in the new future so make sure to check out my page and subscribe so you don't miss the new maps!
