Last year, we had the FIFA World Cup here in Brazil. And, after the championship, I found some Stadiums made in Minecraft, like Arena Amazônia, Arena Corinthians, Arena Pernambuco, Arena Pantanal and the most famous brazilian stadium: Maracanã, the soccer temple. I searched but did not find any good recreation of Arena da Baixada, so I thought in recreate it.

The stadium belongs to the team named Atletico Paranaense, from Curitiba, city were I live. During the FIFA World Cup, there were held four matches in the stadium:

06/16 Iran x Nigeria
06/20 Honduras x Ecuador
06/23 Australia x Spain
06/26 Russia x Algeria

Arena da Baixada is able to recieve about 40,000 spectators. It's the only stadium in Brazil with a retractable roof, as rain is common in the city.

After some days, it's finally finished! I made some bathrooms, shops, streets around the stadium and gates. I also made some redstones circuits to turn on/off the lights over the field.

I Was thinking to build the buildings around, but there is a lot of them and it would take too long to finish the project.
