Goal of the map:
The goal of this map is to survive, in combination with collecting all the wool blocks that can be found around the map. All players start in the same middle area. This is a Free For All PvP Arena, which means that every player can be attacked by another player on any time.
When wool is found it can be held in the inventory, but it's only a point if the player places it back at his/her starting point in the middle of the arena.
Number of players: 16
When does a round end?
A round ends when one of the following conditions is met:
* This can be adjusted if needed
Who wins the game?
The winner of a round of Arena For Wool is the person who has the most wool at the spawn point. Every wool block is worth one point. A Golden Block is worth two. When two people have the same amount of points the real winner can be determined with this:
Note that these rules only apply to the first places when needed
Rules for the players:
Rules for the administrators:
There are sixteen wool blocks hidden on this map and one golden block. So there is only one color of every wool block! ;)
Selfstart:
When an administrator wants to join the game itself (it's possible, but not recommanded). He can flick the lever in the administrator house. This will give him/her 60 seconds time (after flicking the start lever of course) to leave and close the house and to settle inside one of the starting areas. Please note that any player who gets stuck can not be helped by the administrator himself.
Plugins for Bukkit:
I also suggest some other plugins to control pvp, block placing/breaking, crafting,... But when you play this arena with a couple of friends you'll not need these I suppose ;)
For Youtubers:
If you plan to create a let's play with this map, great! :) I don't care. But do put my username (Bjarno/bjarnovikus) into the video's description and a link to the download page! ;)
Addiontal rules:
If you play with a few people, or a lot of people, these rules can be used when needed

Plugins for Bukkit:
- SafeExplosions - Disable Creeper explosions
This plugin fixes problems with redstone circuitery above ground
And you can't get items anymore from destroyed wool (main reason ;) ) - Woolfound - %indev% - Shows a message to all players when a person has picked up a wool block
Created by Robin0van0der0v, this plugin will show a message to all players on the current server when someone picks up a wool block (and of course a golden block).
I also suggest some other plugins to control pvp, block placing/breaking, crafting,... But when you play this arena with a couple of friends you'll not need these I suppose ;)

Addiontal rules:
If you play with a few people, or a lot of people, these rules can be used when needed
- PvP is not allowed in the middle area (it starts from the iron border)
- PvP is not allowed the first two minutes of a round
- When you play with less then 8 player 8 chests in the middle area may be broken
- After a timeout of 2 minutes, a died player can rejoin the round but with an empty inventory (but wool that he has placed in his spawning point is still safe)
