Hi,
I built a map called Arena Survival. It's a game where 2 teams have to kill each other. FIGHTERS and TRAPPERS
Fighters have to stay in a arena and try to shoot the Trappers
Trappers activate Pressure Plates and toggle traps to kill the Fighters. But sometimes they drop loot for the Fighters such as food, chests or enchantment table.
The Item Kits
Every team gets item kits based on the team they are and a minecart.
Fighters
- Full Chainmail Armor
- Iron Sword
- Bow (Infinity)
- Health Potion
- 1 Arrow (Have to take from Chest)
Trappers
- Full Leather Armor
- Stone Sword
- Health Potion
Dead
- Random Food (Chicken, Fish or Steak)
The Gamemodes
There are 3 gamemodes this map can be played on. By this you can even play on singleplayer against bots (zombies haunting villagers and activate the traps) :D
Normal Mode (4+ Players)
When players die they are dead and can't enter the Trapper or Fighter team. They can only join as Dead. Dead players can give food to alive players (both teams) or punch the Trapper if he is close enough. Also there is a little waiting room for them that it doesn't get that boring ;)
CPU Mode (1+ Players) [W.I.P.]
Players can only choose Fighter and the traps are toggled by zombies which try to kill villagers. This mode is especially for Single Player because there are no friends you can play with. Of course you can try this mode out in Multiplayer too :)
Endless Mode (2+ Players)
When players die they can simply join the Fighter or Trapper team and enter the arena just like before. This gamemode can really be played endless ;D
The gamemode can be chosen on the spawn of the map. If you're admin or on Single Player you can break the glass there. But there are some rules which you have to deal with because breaking them would crash the redstone:
1. Never flip multiple levers at the same time!
2. You have to flip CPU lever multiple times to work! (The more often the harder it gets)
3. Once chosen you can't switch the gamemode anymore!
4. When you flip the lever the door will open
The Rules
1. Don't break or place any blocks
2. Don't use mods or hacks
3. Don't kill team members
4. Always break minecarts when arrived
5. Only activate item kits once per turn
INFO: Of course the description, gamemodes and rules are written in the map too. Even in both, english and german language :D
