Tips:
You'll find a lot of splash potions of healing in the map. They're not just for healing yourself. Pretty much all mobs (with some rare exceptions) count as 'undead'. Meaning that you can damage enemies with the potions while still healing yourself.
About:
Fight and loot your way through three themed dungeons (Forest, Stronghold and Nether) that progressively become more difficult than the last. Inhabited by ferocious beasts, ravenous undead, and cunning gladiators! Bosses await you at the end of each dungeon. Will you pass the warrior trials and earn your valour?
This map is intended to be played in singleplayer. While the map theoretically could be played with more than one person. It wasn't made for it. At some point I'm thinking of trying to make a multiplayer version.
Gladiator Classes:
Gladiators are one of many types of enemies you'll face in the arena. They come in four different classes. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Swordsman:
Well armoured stoic warriors, prepared to fight to the bitter end. They surround their enemies, leaving them with nowhere left to run.
Health: Normal
Amour: High
Damage: Moderate
Resistance: Melee
Weakness: Ranged
Archer:
Lightly armoured rangers, who’ll fire upon their targets from a distance.
Health: Moderate
Armour: Low
Damage: Moderate
Resistance: Ranged
Weakness: Melee
Berserker:
Ferocious axe wielding brawlers with a lust for battle. They leap great distances to close the gap between them and their enemy. Their axes will deal a hefty blow, even temporarily disabling shields! Higher level berserkers will also briefly inflict slowness. However, their attacks take a while to recharge. Leaving them open to a fatal blow.
Health: Moderate
Armour: None
Damage: High
Resistance: Knockback, fall damage
Weakness: Melee, Ranged
Assassin:
Nimble and cunning killers who lurk in the shadows. Waiting to ambush unsuspecting fighters. Some will even attempt to stalk their victims. Waiting for their opponent's back to be turned. Equipped with two swords, their attacks are swift and devastating if caught unprepared. Having a shield handy will leave an assassin’s attacks useless, for as long as the shield holds.
