The success of the Pegasus was fresh in everyone's mind. It was the ship that was changing the tide of the war, and the first in a new series of innovative and strong airships to replace the Empire's aging fleet. The Artemis is the very next in that series. The Artemis was tested in battle and after several victories, once of which being against a heavily armored Sky Legion Cruiser, the Artemis went on to replace the broadsword as the new Gunship for the Ministry of Air. With only 5 guns it lacked the firepower of the pegasus, and was thus used as a scouting, flanking, and fast attack vessel. It excelled in it's duties and became common place on the front lines.While not as renown this ship was more commonly used than any of the blade series 2 ships.
