Astaldor

I present Astaldor!  This map is masive at 10kx10k with 100% custom terrain and a HUGE city in the center.  Right now the upper level is about .5k-.25k while the rest of the city is about .75k-1.25k.  The map itself was originally made with world machine, the textures and overall design was then worked out in more detail using world painter. The city walls were mostly built using mcedit and the palace, 70 or so houses and the details of the finished streets have been created manually.   The houses all have interriors and the palace interrior is about half way done.  I use a pretty customized version of Conquest Texture pack combined with CTM and slightly custom Tree Repository schematics for the terrain.

This has been a work in progress off and on for a few months, terrain is fully done while the city will take months to fill since I estimate nearly 5800 houses on just the inside of it, let alone the farms and small villages outside... but eventually :D.

This is maybe the 5th version of the same city I'm creating with mass improvements each time.
