This is a test world! All that you will see here is an example of the new commands that allows for you to change the kill box of a Giant, effectively making what we know of as a "Titan" using the new features in 14w02b. (For an explanation of how it is done please scroll down past the text below.) There is also a Sand based arena that I used to test my titan killing skills.
Ever since I started watching Attack on Titan, I have wanted to make a adventure map with it.... I know there is a mod for 3D gear that is very popular, however what I have yet to see is a way to create a Titan that can only be killed by attacking the back of its neck.
I tried many way, and realized that the riding feature was the answer. However, that still left me with the issue of the Titan. Dropping it through the floor seemed silly so I gave up on it.
But now, 2014 has hit, and we have snapshot 14w02b. With the addition of "/kill @e" you can now fight a proper titian.
Please feel free to use this in maps, I will be considering creating a mini game, especially if I find some people to help me build part of the world.
Commands, and other useful tidbits:
My goal is to effectively change the Giants hit box from the feet, to the neck area.
I tried this a few months ago by having a spider ride the Giant. The spider is wide enough that it is possible to hit it by approaching the back of the giants neck.
Basic commands
/testfor @e[Type=Spider]
While the spider is alive the redstone turns off the signal to the second command block
/kill @e[Type=Giant]
It is also possible to to use the name selector to pick out which spider and giant combination will get killed.
