BATMAN: GOTHAM ADVENTURE
It's simple: we craft the Batman.
In the wake of the Arkham and Dark Knight trilogies (and with Arkham Knight and Batman v Superman still looming tantalizingly on the horizon), the fan frenzy of Gotham's Caped Crusader has never been wilder. Add to it BATMAN: Gotham Adventure.
Gotham Adventure began as simply an ambition to create an Arkham-style challenge mode in Minecraft, but it has slowly grown into much more. Drawing influence from not only the Arkham series, but the Dark Knight trilogy, Batman: The Animated Series, and select Frank Miller graphic novels, Gotham Adventure comprises a new and original Batman fanfiction story with favorite Batman characters and classic Batman moments.

GAMEPLAY FEATURES
-Open-world format with randomly spawning enemies to defeat and citizens to save
-Combo, Stealth and Fear/Enrage systems for combat diversity
-Gadgets, gadgets and more gadgets (Batarangs, grapple cannon, explosive gel, smoke pellets and more)
-Formidable boss battles (Bane, Joker, Mr. Freeze and more)
-20-level upgrade system to give Batman the edge
-Batwing, quick-travel transportation
-Fully immersive story, Riddler side missions, and more!
-All of this will functions 100% with vanilla Minecraft --No mods needed!
I recommend using oygul2's Memory's Modern texture pack for the full visual experience.

Hey guys,
Sorry that I've been away a lot longer than anticipated. I've kind of been swamped with real life. Also, I'm running into a few road blocks with lag in the map. I think I have some more housekeeping stuff to take care of, like resetting score values when they're not needed, et cetera.
Anyway, I want to do Batman right, since it's the whole reason I got into map making in the first place, so I've been toying with different mechanic ideas in other worlds. I won't really know how smooth these new builds will pan out to be until I get everything in place and running, so I'm literally going to have to make a whole different map to test them.
The bad news? I'm officially putting Batman on hold till I complete a test map. The good news? As I've been testing, I've developed a whole new map concept (which could be a bit of fun in itself), and it's already well underway! It's going to be a classic, medieval, class-based, RPG adventure/challenge which is totally multiplayer friendly. You can track the progress of that project here.
Don't worry, I will return to Batman in due course... when he's needed most.

Thanks for checking in. Unfortunately, 1.9 has set me back on a lot of my maps. I think the new tools will allow me to build things even better, but it will mean a lot of starting over as certain commands' syntax has changed as well as how redstone blocks work. I'll keep you posted for when I get back to working on this.
