Bring Battle Royale and Mario Galaxy together in VANILLA Minecraft!

By only using commandblocks, you can:
-
play 4 extremely detailed maps that closely resemble original Mario Galaxy 2 galaxies

-play with up to 4 players
-find Loot boxes which contain Mario powerups that can be used for strategic battle*
-A beautiful 3D resourcepack to improve the Mario game experience
-The last man standing wins

*all powerups and items are fully operational and act like in the real Mario games. For example:
Collect coins; summon clouds by simply throwing cloud powerups; improve your speed by eating Hot Peppers; throw Starbits to harm your enemies; throw fireballs by activating the Fire Flower; drop a Drill to mine your way through a platform... etc...

Feel free to use this Battle Royale game for server purposes. Play with friends and maybe stream a Let's Play!

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. I think it’s sad this map has never really got any attention...

I think the reason why this map did not get a lot of attention is because we can't totally receate Mario Galaxy in Minecraft : we can't simulate custom gravity without modding the game. Sadly, even if we love to play your map (especially SMG2) thanks to the hard work you gave, we can't have the same feelings from the original game. I also tried to create a datapack in order to build our own SMG level but I just lost the desire to continue because of this problem. Maybe the galaxy's series is the hardest to work with, and the feedbacks are not as numerous as we had hoped.
Anyway, your maps are awesome and we want to see what's going to be released next !

You did a really good job with the models and the powerups but I think it would have been better if you would have made it so you jump and hit ? blocks and bricks for items. I know how to add that stuff in, just set a score board for jumping then test for if the player jumps then detect if a brick/ ? block is above them then give them a random item.
