Hi everyone,
Well, that took a while, sorry for the wait. I actually finished Yamato not long after the last update, but had trouble getting my shaders to work so I held off on updating this PMC project for a bit.
Anyway, here it is now! Japanese battleship Yamato (and French Richelieu in the background) in all her 71,000-ton glory!
Screenshots as of 23/11/2015.
Greetings all,
Some of you may remember the French battleship Richelieu that I completed a couple of days ago. Well, I'm glad to announce that I'm now working on something bigger and badder—the heaviest battleship of all-time: Japanese battleship Yamato in her 1944 configuration.
So yeah, have a little sneak peek and tell me what you think! More screenshots on the way as more progress is made!

Something I forgot to mention in my Richelieu post: these ships were built on the LumiaCraft creative server at mc.lumiacraft.com. Many thanks to Lumia for honing my building skills for the past two years as well as giving me a big space to make my beloved warships in.
And yes, that is a Tone-class heavy cruiser in the background. It'll be done when it's done. :)

I saw that you created a collaboration project building the Pearl Harbor strike force. That gave me an idea—perhaps I could replicate Kurita's Center Force at Leyte, when I have the time.
If I may ask, how did you set them up to take such lovely screenshots? Were they rendered using third-party software, or taken in game using shaders? I've been away from Minecraft for over a year, so admittedly, I'm a bit clueless.
