Here's my Beta world that I've been playing on for a little over a year. This map is made for Beta 1.7.3. I think you can load it in newer versions but there's no telling if it'll break or not.
You'll start off at the castle in the north. The town of Lumbridge is roughly at the 0,0 coordinates of the world, and from there you may follow the rail to Zwielicht if you like.

in 1.7.10 when i first loaded in, i was stuck in place with the screen bouncing. I had to open to LAN with cheats enabled and teleport to get unstuck. This didn't happen for the later versions.
One door had a visual bug with the top half missing/invisible. breaking and re-hanging the door fixed this.
There was some other wierdness like chests facing the wall, or double chests being half invisible with a wrong facing side sticking out, which wasn't a real block. In 1.10.2 or later i think some chests just disappeared.
If you try to open this world in 1.16.5, it gives the message 'warning! this map was created in version unknown' It does eventually load, but there are occasional missing chunks, filled with water at sea-level. They apparently took out the 'converting world' functions to convert older worlds. I found that if i first opened the world in 1.12.2 and let it convert, then copied it to 1.16.5 (or later versions) then the world would open fine, with no chunk corruption or damage.
The best overall solution seemed to be to open the world in 1.7.10 first, then take down the paintings and empty and break then re-set the chests, and refill them. Then load the map in later versions if desired.
Here is the manor house in 1.7.10, with OptiFine and Complimentary Shaders installed ;-)
This shows how creative you can get, even in older versions.
I liked all of the stuff, I even thought using netherrack as a type of brick was smart.
Now i want to play old mc XD
