Introducing Border Wars. The Bordered Survival With a Twist

Built for 1.8 or the lastest snapshot the WASD team and Eastonium have created a hard survival world.


The border is slowly shrinking, and the player must kill hostile mobs in order to expand the border. Though if the player dies the border take a huge hit to its size. If the border shrinks to far down, the redstone will break and the player(s) will lose. How far will you get? Can you make it past your first day? To the Nether? Defeat the dragon? Only your skills will deside.
This map works with any number of players and would work just fine for a miltiplayer setting. Each hostile mob expands the border different amounts depending on the mob. Zombies are +1 while a creeper would be +4 and so on. We hope you enjoy.

In this update we added chest at different distances away up to 1500 away!

We also fixed lots of bugs including a redstone freezing bug and a redstone crashing bug.

Oh, the game time, as it is a survival map and not a chalange map,  is unlimited or until you lose.

It is using the 1.8 border, thus it is not a block. Turning this into a plugin would be fine with me if you would give a bit of credit for the idea, as it was origonal. You could have problems though as it is 1.8 which isn't out yet besides snapshots.
