But why let this project die? There might be some talented Conquest users in the community to continue your work? Maybe the Ravand-Team would even host the map on their server? And if these possibilites are not an option and you are really, really done with Minecraft - why then not release the map for everyone's use? Just asking - as it is really a pitty to see such a beautiful map just being whiped away.
I wouldn't be letting the project die, just, maybe letting it sit for half a year. But! Marie and I have figured out a way to make the map usable in single player, no need for server side plugins to make it work properly :D. Which means well I'm out living on my job site, I can still work on the map whenever I'm bored. So I'm still here! And honestly I don't think I could let anyone else run or build this map, this map is everything I've done in minecraft all leading up to it. This is the best map I've ever made, also one of the most detailed I've seen, aside from Ardacraft's of course lolol. Not to be cocky or anything, just every time I see it I go "holy shit" and I'm the one that made it XD
It sounds like this is project is a matter of the heart - and the details in your pictures completely confirm it. So I totally understand why you wouldn't want to give the map away. As long as you're not planning to quit MC this is actually a good news.. It just happens often enough that the "good guys" disappear from one day to the other without ever releasing their longtherm projects everyone was drooling for.
Now that I'm reassured you're just having a timeout I rather start looking forward to your next update of the map. :)
Yeah aha, it's been ages since I *really* worked on a projects. The last project I put tons of time into was Eyirh before this. Thankfully though, Marie and I figured out a way to allow me to continue to build this map without wifi. The past year I've been having to run it on a private server. Should be posting more is what I'm getting at :d
Man, thank you for your amazing work, it's wonderful, really impressive as always.
