A building I am building in the "Brutalist Architecture" style.
According to Wikipedia, "Brutalist architecture is a style of architecture that flourished from the 1950s to the mid-1970s, spawned from the modernist architectural movement. Brutalism rapidly became popular with governments and institutions around the world, with numerous high style examples located in Britain, France, Germany, Japan, United States, and Brazil. Examples are typically large buildings, massive in character, fortresslike, with a predominance of exposedconcrete construction."
Brutalism is one of my favorite archetecture styles, and it is shown in most of the buildings I make in Minecraft, This building combines several Brutalist features such as all concrete. (The concrete texture i use in my texturepack is 2048 x 2048 pixels). The exposed staircases, the slanted angular roofs, and the linear designs. Look it up on google images!
While this building is not finished, I plan to finish it and build more buildings in this type of style. Leave any comments for a design I should do.
