Welcome to Buluran!

A beautiful Savannah landscape, with gorgeous tree cover, and awe inspiring mountains and valleys. Amongst it's natural beauty, one will also find the westren valley is frequently rent with earthquakes. giving it a jagged, scary, but adventurous feel.

Ok so I'm gonna weigh in on the sand line (around the Mts) because I like your map so much.  The fact that there is one is cool, But wind blows sand, so topographic positioning will (in real life) move the sand line up or down in elevation by a small amount.  On point slopes (exposed to wind) sand might be higher and cover less area. On depressional slopes, it might be lower but cover more area.  I haven't actually seen a sand line like you're attempting to depict...  You might have a very straight line of sand if it is controlled geologically and is eroding from sandstone - but in that case you'd need a layer of sandstone above the sand.  Am I overthinking it?  Yes, of course.

I had actually noticed that as well, as I was flying around my map the other day. on the big mtn, like the first slide of the slideshow, I think it's okay, but in other areas is is very high.

The sand line wasn't 100% intentional, and it was done with a set height to cap the brush. To make it more topographically accurate, I should've used that, but also with an angle setting... So yes, I agree with you. All I can say is: Twenty Minutes.      :)

The trick is to not over work it... I've spent weeks over-doing, re-doing, re-tuning stuff, but in all reality, sometimes you just need to shut your brain up and be like: "I'm done!" that's what I did. I wanted to do something simple, and awesome. And hey, whaddaya know!? Pop reel.

Another thing, practice. You don't get good w/out time. XD I've easily spend 300 hrs making myself better and better, learning new methods and observing.

Hah. Yeah, but it is realistic, sand lines are very common where deserts meet hills or plains.

Thx for the opinion and feedback!
