The Cake Vaults Adventure Map is a short puzzle/adventure map created on Minecraft 1.9.
The map is about 20-30 minutes in length depending on player skill.
This is my first adventure map so I welcome feedback and criticism to help me make future maps.
You play as an archaeologist in search of a Cake Vault left behind by an ancient civilization, and buried under a desert. The vault is protected by many challenges and monsters, and an unspeakable horror waits for you at its entrance.
You will discover the story line as you explore in game; fighting mobs, solving puzzles, and completing jumping courses.
The rules of the map are basic and can be read in game at the start of the adventure.
The map should spawn you at -419 / 63 / -129.
I tested the map several times, but If you discover any bugs or mistakes within the world, then please let me know.
To install the world:
1. Download the map.
2. Unzip the files.
3. Drag and drop the "Cake Vaults" folder into your Minecraft saves folder.
This is my first project, and isn't a very large one. Please leave criticism and feedback. If you record your play-through of my map and upload it onto a video/streaming website; please enter the link to it in the comments. I hope you have fun!
