Hi guys, sorry for the random hiatus. I was working on the story and getting things written down before actually putting them in. I do have some updates for you though!
Has anyone had any problems with the sound/command blocks not working? Feedback would be greatly appreciated! Also tell me what you think of the actual puzzles, if they're too hard/easy or just stupid haha
***EARLY WORLD DOWNLOAD***
I need you guys to test this out and make sure that you spawn in the right area and all the sounds and command blocks work.
Also before you load the map or even open minecraft....add the custom folder to your sounds folder in your .minecraft.
I have the story done and ready and I've finally figured out where I want this map to go! So with out further a-do here is Castle Ravencroft: The Dark Witch
A young girl lived in a beautiful castle with her parents, wanting for nothing and living a wonderful life. She was a normal girl other than the wealth that she would someday inherit, but she longed for adventure. Unfortunately being an only child meant that her parent kept her safe at home and out of harms way. Not able to adventure past the safety of the castle walls she chose books as her escape from the monotony of her life. She roamed their extensive library reading every book she could. She would walk the halls, her nose in a book and read for hours. One day she was reading a particularly interesting pirate novel when she decided to take a different route than her normal book reading route. The girl wandered though the halls, her footsteps and the occasional rasping of the pages the only sound. She walked for hours until she noticed that her pacing had taken her to a part of the castle she had never seen. Looking around she didn't notice the small step and tripped, falling into the wall. She grabbed a candle stick to steady herself but it gave way. However, it merely tipped down and she could see it was some sort of lever. A grinding noise of stone on stone sounded to her left and turning around she saw a passageway had opened. The girl grinned widely and took this as an opportunity to finally sate the burning curiosity that had plague her life. Through muck and dirt, impossibly small corridors, and a maze-like sewer system she crawled, ran and trucked. Feeling that she had finally gotten her fill of adventure she went to leave, but in her excitement she had lost track of what way was out. Lost, cold, and scared she searched for her way out. It was then she stumbled upon the book. Locked in a glass cage a large, black book sat, perfectly preserved even in such a filthy place. Her curiosity bested her and just as the rock hit the glass, shattering it, a black smoke rose from the book along with a hissing voice.
"Freeee at lasssssst."
The smoke rose and crashed around her and the same voice but clearer sounded in her head.
"Young, but strong. You will do nicely."
And then she realized what she had done. All the stories her parent had told her were true. The trapped soul of the Dark Witch really was locked beneath the castle, and Alexandria Ravencroft had just set her free.
"Freeee at lasssssst."
The smoke rose and crashed around her and the same voice but clearer sounded in her head.
"Young, but strong. You will do nicely."
And then she realized what she had done. All the stories her parent had told her were true. The trapped soul of the Dark Witch really was locked beneath the castle, and Alexandria Ravencroft had just set her free.

1. For windows type %appdata% in your search bar and hit enter. For Mac click on the go in the finder bar and go to "Go to folder" and type /Users/[type your username on your computer here]/library/Application Support.
2.open the .minecraft folder (no . on mac)
3. Open the assets folder
4. Open the sounds folder
5. Paste the custom folder from the download here.

*ALSO* i will have a resource pack download for you. The texture pack IS NOT MINE that is KoP Realism not mine. I repeat THE TEXTURE PACK IS NOT MINE. The only thing in it that is mine are the custom sounds. Thats it....I'm just putting the sounds in KoP's because:
- They have made a very nice resource pack and I want everyone to see the same map since in some texture packs......well things will look funny.
- I didn't just want to give you a sound file and you have to use the default pack
- Then I don't have to explain how to add it to the sound folder in your .minecraft so you CAN use your own Rpack.
