Cedar Point 2016

A few friends of mine have decided to make a 1:1 scale model of Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. We are ride operators at the park, I myself have operated 6 roller coasters there and 15 flat rides, and we figured that with our behind the scenes perspective of the park, we would be able to make it look just as fantastic as the real thing. There is a required resource pack that I am still developing that makes some significant changes, including but not limited to turning chickens into seagulls, acacia wood blue, clearer glass, iron bars into black fences, mossy cobblestone into a smooth beige stone, and some easter eggs from the ride ops that helped put this map together. We hope to make the buildings and rides as accurate as possible and as I type this, we have some very signifiant things built.


The shape of the Cedar Point peninsula has been completed, including the resevoir for Thunder Canyon and the breakers leading to the lighthouse. All 1200 meters of breakers. As well as what used to be called Cedar Point Lake. The parking lots have been paved as well as Perimeter Road. The marina has been laid out, it just needs the docks.


The Coliseum, Cedars Employee Hotel, WindSeeker, Giant Wheel, and Cedar Downs are complete.

Next on our to-do list is Hotel Breakers which is being outlined right now.
