The concept behind this build was to encapsulate what defines someone’s life, what experiences go into changing and transforming their life for the good, or for the worst. The five emotions/experiences we chose were “Joy, Laughter, Love, Death & War”, seeing as these are probably the most important factors in the general person’s life. These are all represented by their own island, and the thought process is shown by a brain. The three positive feelings are pulling up the brain into the heavens, and rusty, metallic chains are pulling the brain into the clutches of the Devil’s hands.

In life we have experiences, feelings, and emotions that pull us down, or make us feel so light it feels almost possible to just float up into the clouds and all concerns and worries will just disappear. Sometimes the anguish, the death, the hate pulls us down so hard on the Devil’s chains that we are so close to his outstretched, charcoaled hands, sometimes we are so close to the void that we question even our existence on this world. However, there is always hope to transform to someone with a positive outlook, you’ve just gotta look hard enough. Love, laughter and joy.. these things we feel inclined to wish for, yet they’re just around the corner, these things can make us feel infinite, feel like the sky has no limit*, feel like the surge of happiness through our bodies makes us tingle to the point where it no longer feels like reality. These are the things that hold us up, that suspend us in this chaotic world, and let us appreciate the beauty of people and nature alike.
