For the Community Castle Creation Jam, currently running until July 19th (2025). The foundry has one main entrance/exit (two separate tunnels) at the front for employees, visitors, and deliveries, and an emergency exit/'entrance' on either side at the copper walkway level.

---

This chamber of the castle was once a humble chapel. With faith, and patience, and devotion, the priests of the kingdom grew the church, until their congregation and clergy were strong enough to make inroads into the Nether itself, striking at the source of greed and violence. The archpriest's theory was that the Nether could be tamed if only its burning heat could be somehow quelled... and it was then that the kingdom's crafting and engineering guilds suggested that the magma wastes of the Nether be harnessed to serve a twofold end: to deplete the Nether of its power, and to fuel the forging of the kingdom's golems, to defend the realm and make further advances into the low dimension.

This sacred task has completely taken over the chapel, its stone reshaped to house arcane machinery salvaged from ancient trial chambers...

Overall, I'm quite happy with the build. I feel there may be something missing... after all, I had planned to decorate the walls a little more with pipes and gears, but I found that it felt a little too cluttered. So, I ended up with quite the clean and efficient factory--and hopefully you still find much to marvel at in there.

When you enter, you will be to the right of the employee punch clock and breakroom. Further in is the central forging line; once the refined iron alloy has been poured and cooled, the inanimate golem 'outline' is then pushed up to the middle production lines where it is shaped, polished, and treated with alchemical herbs and infused with mystic scrolls. Once the golem is awakened, it is tethered to a binding pillar until ready for transport. Raw iron is dug up from the planet's mantle, while raw gold, quartz, and a steady supply of magma are all trucked in from the stable Nether portal at the farthest point of the chamber. (Redd, if the subterranean portion is too much to deal with, I can edit it so that the central lava well is shallower.)

Generales - the magma tanks/pillars are adapted and reskinned portions from the Cyberstorm Military Base Collection
Roman_95 - adapted and reskinned portion from the roof of the Allied Armor Facility, https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/armor-facility-c-amp-c-red-alert-3/
I did not see any disclaimers on these builds, so I hope it was OK that I went ahead and adapted and used these components. If not, please message me and I will revise the build!

What else... Ah - the world file will also contain an attempt at a schematic and an Axiom blueprint, as the world itself is just a superflat void to fit the whole structure. You should spawn in at the entrance tunnel. The world should have all the entities I intended to be there... if not, your inventory should contain some minecarts, leads, and spawn eggs, and I hope the placements of these are clear from the design of the factory.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy! For the third and final build I'm planning for the Community Castle Jam, you shall perhaps see why the kingdom needs so many golems...

Lol, I never thought I'd see the industrial robots being used anywhere xD
Are they like sorting ore or what are they doing?

That's a great question! I'll try to attach a diagram:
Foundry Production Diagram 01

Station/Phase One: Shaping - The grindstone attachment is utilized on two concurrently-running machines to shape the cooled iron into the final outline of the golem's body. The brewing stand supplies solvents to ease the process, and then applies a finish to the metal to prevent natural corrosion.

Station/Phase Two: Redstone - The barrel and hopper create the redstone circuitry that helps to enable the golem to sense the world and navigate--see the distinctive red eyes on the stained glass model? That's actually a redstone lens!

Station/Phase Three: Vine Growth - The gripper (the cauldron) attachment is fed from a spool of immature glowberry vines, which then applies the vines across the golem's body. This is largely aesthetic to match the ancient golems found across the cuboid, but the vines also create a microbiome on the surface of the golem itself, repelling mites, small animals, and so on, as well as providing the golem with some illumination if it happens to wander into a cave.

Station/Phase Four: As befitting and honoring the original legend of the Golem, this phase involves further enchantment and strengthening of the golem's body (check out the bookshelf - the books actually correspond to the golem's attributes!), and, as well, a special scroll is inserted into the golem's mouth to give it some measure of free thought and will. You could just pop a Jack-O-Lantern on there, but it's easier for the priests to make scrolls rather than carve pumpkins.

That explanation is so cool and really creative xD
Seems like you put a lot of thought into it ^^

Ah, thank you. :) I was a huge nerd for the show How It's Made when I was younger, maybe that helped. And being inspired by builders like you and all the awesome community members here at PMC is what really drives the creation process :)
