This is our first large project (I think this is big.)
This is Castle of Cambord. It is located in France.

I built them with another player - Semises, but I prepared a draft.
We little modified it for minecraft but castle still similar like orginal and details were preserved.

If you ask nicely about download, I will send MCEdit Schematic. :)
Edit: I send MCEdit Schematic and save when we finish it in 100%.

Real Castle of Chambord doesn't have garden/park on courtyard but we did it because in Minecraft it looks better than nothing there.

Hay man! I was wonding if you would wana come on my server and get a costom class for you and all perms so you could build some epic stuff. My map is gettin reset for an upcomoing roleplay 1.0 server. I'm kinda wanting some cool buildings neer spawn though and you seem to be a pretty good builder! so reply on here and posibly we can work something out! id like to talk on skype so hope you reply.

but for some reason the amount of details you put into it might be too much for the current scale.

Everyone has their own opinion. I somewhat agree with you but the castle although was built in the Renaissance, Persons who prepared a drafts took for example gothic castles. I think this castle fits to gothic style because it has many windows, soaring towers and it looks like it has to look. :D
