This is a chess board I made in Minecraft with all the pieces. This may not be the best way to represent chess pieces in Minecraft so don't whine about it. Tell me if they need correcting. The Board is 16x16 and the pieces are 2 blocks apart. The White side is made with quartz and the black side is made with nether brick.

No, it wasn't meant to be playable. I suppose if you wanted to you could destroy a piece then build it back someplace different.
