There is a chessboard in the middle of the room, and above the board there are dots indicating where the first and eighth verticals of the board are located: the first on the white side and the eighth on the black side. The chest contains chess pieces: they can be placed on the chessboard with the right mouse button and taken with the left. Also, if you want to write a part, then there a book with a quill in the chest.
