Hello,

this is an old Chevrolet farm truck for transporting flowers from a flower farm to a market. It was inspired by several photos I found on the internet.
I made the flowers on the back of the truck by only copying the upper half of peonies and rose bushes and pasting them onto the flatbed.

ok idk what im doing wrong but i copied the tops and am pasting them on the back but the keep breaking for me. i even Downloaded the schematic but the flowers dont load for me. im using the latest 1.16.5

I play in 1.16.1 and for me copying just the top of the flowers and pasting them somewhere else and pasting the truck's schematic works just fine.

The flowers are in a somewhat semi-stable mode after pasting them, any block update will break them.
Maybe you can try pasting the schematic with fast mode enabled (do //fast before pasting the schematic). Fast mode suppresses possible block updates caused by the pasting.

How do actually add the flowers on the truck ? looks like the blocks under them are not dirt or grass...

Yeah, no, there's no dirt or grass under them. I put the flowers there with World Edit (the same program I use to make my schematics) by copying only the upper half of peonies and rose bushes and pasting them onto the truck's flatbed.
They stay there until they get a block update because then they realise that their lower half is missing and they break.
