Part of a team build on my server, 'De Von Craft, esq.', this is a giant city we are working on, which we have bestowed the title of Circuli Civiaem

UPDATE: The trailer has been completed, and a download should become available tommorow!

The Castle (Pictures begin at #1)

The Castle is a lonely place, with housing for only one person - the lord of the city, Lord Devon (also known as fancy pants serious tree guy). With sprawling bridges, numerous towers, and tall tall staircases, the Castle is somewhere you can get lost quite easily. Hidden within are many secret stockpiles of TNT, swords, arrows, and bows.

But the boats in the ocean are right beside the castle, and they are jealous of its wealth. They plan to do whatever damage they can to the castle, with the few TNT cannons they house on board.

The Merchant District (Pictures begin at #18)

The Merchant District is the driving force behind Circuli Civiaem's economy. Anything that can be created, sold, and bought, will be found in this district. You can find shops here to sell you food, weapons, plants, even pets. There is a giant sprawling mall, a magical looking tower where you can buy potions, or a blacksmiths hut where you can buy and repair weapons. But hidden between the crossroads of this essential district lie many a secret.

The merchants seem to hold grudges. The head merchant, The Merchant Warden, holds the strongest grudge. She hates how little power she has compared to Lord Devon, and plans to change that. A secret passage within the merchant district leads to her secret headquarters, an anti-throne room, in opposition to the Castle. Through these headquarters, you can reach the underground railway of the undercity, which will lead you to the prison, or to some Undercity villages. In the Undercity, the Merchant Warden is working on a very sinister plot...

The Garden and Rapture (Pictures begin at #29)

The Gardens were created by Lord Devon in the hopes that it would keep his subjects happy and pacified. It kept them happy, but not pacified. Instead, the resourceful, the brilliant, and the creative migrated there and begun building - down. The surface was not their world, the descended into the fantastic Rapture.

In Rapture, many a thing exists that you would not see on the surface world. The citizens of Rapture do not need to fear death from overpopulation, nor ridicule from their stupidly rich neighbours. All they have to worry about is figuring out the next cool thing - spleef arenas, enderball courts, nifty bathospheres, or how to create a fantastic secret lab.

Many secrets lie within Rapture... and many dangers.

The Slums (Pictures begin at #47)

Severe of poverty and overpopulation in Circuli Civiaem has forced the underprivelidged into one corner of the city. While the quadrant they call home may be large, their numbers are even larger. They are forced to share houses and share beds, yet this still does not provide enough room for these poor citezens. Houses are stacked on top of one another and are shoved into any inch of space available, creating a maze like structure of houses and shacks teetering dangerously on the brink of collapse.

Yet, those who live in the Slums have not given up. They may be forced to work long, grueling hours in the factory. They may be forced to work in the ice mine so the Cloud District socialites may have ice in their drinks. They may be forced to sacrifice their lives in the Iron Mine. But they havent given up. Deep in the Slums is a secret rebel base, where plans to overthrow Lord Devon and the Cloud District are being drawn up, weapons gathered, and tools created.

The Cloud District (Pictures begin at #62)

Those who live in the Cloud District are the priviledged ones of Circuli Civiaem. They have wealth beyond measure, and do with it what they please. This generally means buying and building extravagent houses, and spending ridiculous amounts of money at the Soggy Pumpkin local Pub, the Glistering Melon tea house, and Le Bistro chez Fancy.

For fun, the rich and famous like to bombard the slums with occasional TNT cannons, or drop some fire charges down onto the wooden structures below. Having grown up rich, and being able to do anything, the people of the Cloud District have no empathy, no understanding of the harm they do. Instead, they cackle with glee as the poorer slum citizens scramble for saftey.

Though it may sound like it, life in the Cloud District is not all fun and games. Each house has a secret, each resident a desire. Some want more knowledge, some want more friends, but most... most want more power.

The Undercity (Pictures begin at #73)

Little is known about the undercity and about its residents, and even less is known about who planned and created Circuli Civiaem above. Records indicate that this sub-level city has been in existence since before Circuli Civiaem was even in its planning stages. The city planner of Circuli Civiaem had to have built tall stone walls encompassing the under-dwellers and their villages, and then covered them. How, no one knows. As for the identity of the city planner, some have put forth the idea that the city planner, and Lord Devon are one and the same - after all, Lord Devons birth year is not public knowledge, and no one can remember a time before he was in command.

Inside the undercity, there is not much to see. Most humanity has died off in the darkness, leaving a population of so called Reavers in their place. The Reavers fear the sky-dwellers, and fear the harm and corruption that may come if they are discovered. So, the Merchant Warden protects them. She keeps the prison seperate from the Undercity villages, and ensures any information leaks are silenced. In return, the Reavers do the Merchant Wardens bidding - whatever it may be.

Additional Notes

Soon, we hope to release the map. It can be used as a server spawn, a place to build, or anything. But the main thing we built it for, was to be used as a death-match map. There are secret stores of weapons, food, potions, TNT, and supplies all accross the city.
