I have been working on a clock which tells time from 6am (when everyone wakes up after sleeping) until midnight. This includes an hourly chime and a noon and midnight chime. The challenge was resetting the clock when players choose to sleep through the night. After significant research, I have determined a method to reliably identify 6am in sun/rain/thunderstorms using daylight sensors. The clock reset relies on a plugin called pipes (CraftBook) to move all the blocks in a hopper clock back to one hopper. I'm looking for ideas to improve on the clock. Please message me if you have any suggestions.
Free to use. Please do not take credit for my work, as the research was not freely available in the MC wiki, so this took significant time to trial until it functioned reliably.
