In the heart of the City of Brotherly Love lies a skyscraper that rises above the skyline as the tallest building in the state of Pennsylvania. This 60-story, 341.68 meter (1121 ft) tall building, by the name of Comcast Technology Center, is one of the latest additions to the Comcast Center Campus. It was designed in collaboration between Foster and Partners, Kendall/Heaton Associates, and Gensler.
The structure itself is built to be environmentally friendly under the style of Structural Expressionism, also known as High-Tech Architecture. The floor plans and window structures optimize the amount of natural light that reaches into the building to reduce the energy demand for lighting. It also features an art deco-inspired mast, the world-class Four Seasons Hotel, multiple restaurants and retail stores, access to mass transit, and enough offices to host more than 4,000 employees. The ground level floors and lobbies are open to the public and support a coffee bar and fish restaurant.
My 1:1 scale model project aims to capture the elaborateness of the exterior and public space. Like my other modeling projects, I used Google Maps and images in the construction process. Since the model total height from the foundation to the mast exceeds Minecraft's block height limit, I decided to split the building into two segments. Unfortunately, this does affect the overall appearance since we can not admire it as one single structure. That is when I asked Ryer, a fantastic artist and architect, to create a render of the project. Ryer turned my project into a masterpiece with a single picture, and I can not express my appreciation in words. Here is a link Ryer's PMC page, you guys most likely already know where to search.

The first-floor lobby's interior is complete (based on the available resources I had)! However, the Exploded Paradigm, created by Conrad Shawcross, was left out of the lobby. After multiple failed attempts, I decided to let it go for the time being and focus on other projects. Eventually, I will come back and successfully recreate it. Hope you all enjoy the project and images!
