Compo Air Force Base
Located on an island off the coast of South Korea near the province of Kum Anh, this is an underground land to air missile defense U.S. Air Force Facility. its mission is to intercept warhead missiles intended for the U.S. mainland or its allies and destroy them. The base is still under construction and other defensive capabilities will be added within the next few weeks.
A crew of 25 men and women active service personnel will be manning the base on a live-in one year cycle.
