Conjah's Egypt

Hey all

I've started building an ancient Egyptian style city on the server i'm lucky enough to Mod and play on:

Mythical Worlds *click me* :D

It's all done in Survival Mode with the exception of flying after the construction of the pyramid...

I cleared the land by shovel and most of the sandstone seen has been gathered.

As I construct main features, i'm inviting players from the server to build a semi Egyptian influenced home and to "live" in the city while experiencing an economy and technically yet randomly mapped out ancient urban empire!

There's a central trading market where all the residents have different stock up for sale and non residents can warp to, to purchase a bargain, all the usually good stuff a city needs! With all the great people on the server it's too easy.

I could go on forever but I guess i'll just let it wait till i'm better organised with the next update. (this is my first ever Planet MC attempt at anything)

I threw in some screenies of the city, a mix of day and night shots.
I'm using Misa Realism texture pack to build this place, I found it to have the best range of blocks that i needed...

Additional Notes

Note: Right now i'm going to say its 5% complete because I honestly wont ever stop building it... Unless, server upgrades / map cant be saved / something terrible happens... etc.

Note: The big shadowy ugly box in some of the screenshots is a hide and seek arena in progress, sadly for the residents, i'm starting from the inside out lol

Note: Will obviously add new info as I go but I plan to keep it a distance in between photo uploads to really show you guys new updates and features to the city.
