This is a base I am building on my current survival world. First thing to note: I underestimated the amount of stone this thing was going to take big time. I've had to ride back and forth to my previous base a few times now to gather more resources but the good news is I'm just about ready to start hollowing out the mountain so there'll be no shortage of stone when that starts.

I have a duplicate world which I've set to creative mode to help me plan out how it's all going to look so I don't waste time and resources in survival constantly placing, breaking and replacing blocks until I'm happy with how it looks but that's the extent of any kind of help I'm giving myself with this. No WorldEdit, no console, just pure vanilla survival. What you see is the product of a couple of days mining, building and travelling between my old base (which is near my original spawn) and this mountain. The round trip between my old base and here is about one Minecraft day by horse so I'm hoping I won't have to do it again before this is finished. I know I could have just started mining out the mountain for extra stone but I didn't really want to start that until I had a plan for exactly what I want it to look like which I don't yet. Also Brego (my horse) needed the exercise.

I will be more detail like some piles of barrels and lamp posts to the docks area but that's a job for a later point. I will also upload the map once it's done.
