Crafting Azeroth (Reworked) v2.0
Crafting Azeroth is a full-scale recreation of the World of Warcraft world for Minecraft, originally created by Rumsey. The project was built using heavy automation and custom tools to reproduce Azeroth on a massive scale while keeping iconic locations recognizable and immersive.
This reworked release is styled after World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, showing Azeroth in the post-shattering era.
The map archive is 18 GB (RAR). After extraction and installation, the full world folder size may grow significantly and can reach up to ~30+ GB depending on your setup and how the world is used

this is genuinely one of the most impressive things on PMC, and the scale of it is hard to overstate.
I wanted to ask permission for something rather than assume. My brother and I are building a Forge 1.20.1 mod that aims for a WoW-like experience inside Minecraft — currently an Iron's Spells addon with a Lightbringer (T6 Paladin) armour set, a Holy specialization tree, and a spell-learning progression that replaces scroll hunting. It's personal/LAN only right now, with no plans to publish.
Longer term, we'd love to integrate an Azeroth recreation as explorable content, with each raid and dungeon isolated in its own dimension — Ulduar, Sunwell Plateau, Dragon Soul and so on — and the outland and certain continents in dimensions of its own. Would you be comfortable with your work being used that way? I'd credit you clearly and link the project wherever it appears.
Two honest caveats: this is queued behind our current feature scope, so it's months away rather than weeks, and we haven't proven feasibility yet — I've pulled the 6.8 GB v1 world to experiment with already (the one from Rumsey), and I understand the current version is 30 GB+, which is a much bigger feasibility - or even porting investigation.
If you'd rather I generate my own from scratch instead, I completely understand — in that case, would you be willing to share what you used for the voxelization? Either answer is genuinely fine; I'd just rather ask than not.
