Description of Crazy Cubez on Empathy Forum
Rules: Two players start at the top and compete for most
slimeballs or magma cubes. You can only cast mob eggs for slimes or
magma cubes at the top and your job throughout levels is to break up
cubes and loot more balls than your opponent. Steal theirs to get more,
toss potions/other mobs at each other at at yourselves to hinder them
and help you win Once you go down one level you stay there or use the
warp sign to to all the way up to level one and start at the top.
Strategically cast your mob eggs to end up with more balls than your
opponent.
Or
You can play with a different player on each level and the player stays
on the level they start on the entire game. The job of the players on
each level is to break down the slimes smaller and get them to fall down
to their teammates below, and only the slime balls looted by the player
at the bottom level count. This way the players above do not kill
slimes but get them to fall unharmed to lowest level and only at the
lowest level do players kill slimeballs and compete for balls. The
players on the higher levels manipulate the slimeballs and other mobs so
that more fall to their buddy below than stay on the side of their
opponent.
The levels are different in strategy and the way they open to the top. For example, one level has glass on opposite sides from where the player can get their slime/magma cubes down to the next level. The glass can be used to manipulate mobs on the level below to help teammate or train opponent. Also, one of the levels has an opening in the middle that, with jump buff on, allows players to jump upon a lege higher than without the buff but still not enter the arena above. This adds a layer of danger and strategy that can be easily turned off without the beacon buff.
The game can be played between two to eight players; I could use some brave souls to help record some tournaments.
Please post variations and strategy
; I would love to see them!
Enjoy!!
