Hello there!! This is the entry for the caved in contest. The concept behind this build was originally an Atlantis like theme, but in the process of terraforming new areas, sharp shapes inspired me to lead an ice gothic theme.

This IS a build that has MULTIPLE areas of ice near light!!!!! To prevent the project melting (almost literally) PLEASE turn off ice melt on your server or download the No IceMelt Mod before downloading this project

To install the mod just open minecraft.jar and extract the one mod file into the .jar. No deleting or moving anything. That's it!

Millions of years ago, when the universe was coming to a peak of new life, an alien race sought out to destroy every planet that held new life. This race was of an unknown origin and their motives for destroying these worlds remained a mystery. They were a cruel and evil race who-for their actions-were banished from any acceptance on any planet and were addressed as Foe.
On a voyage to a new galaxy, a team of Foe set out to find solar systems that contained new life to destroy. They searched for weeks from outside-in. The more they searched the more their radar detected life; the closer they got to Earth. As they realized this, they're ship began to malfunction and crashed into Earth and landed inside a cave. This cave held only few resources, yet the Foe knew they didn't have a choice; they must settle and wait for help.
Weeks passed and they made a home of this new cave as much as they could. Old raggedy shacks and little food, some starved to death and others converted to cannibalism. While mining for gold and diamond, a new cave was discovered. A couple went to explore and,while doing so, dropped through a large hole and landed in water. What they discovered changed everything.
A new cave that thrived with animals, plants, resources of all kind. They're first instinct was to turn it all to ash. But instead, they sat and observed-observed the grass on the ground and the small creatures that lived in peace and harmony. They studied the large tree in cave and watched how it was the source of this life. All the Foe eventually found this tree and began to slowly change. They began to appreciate new life and protect it. A new settlement was made around this new idea and the alien race lived long.
Now it was only a large book to an ancient history. Steve explored these caves and learned the history of the settlers that lived long before the human race and their new purpose to sustaining and protecting new life.
