This clock will reliably keep time, and add charm and character to your world. Its got an automatic reset mechanism, a swinging pendulum, a nice tick tock sound, an hourly singing bird, and a night mode feature. With proper care, it will stay accurate no matter what! It splits the minecraft day into 16 hours. 8 hours of day and 8 hours of night. Its based on an old mumbo jumbo clock. The bird pops out and sings on the hour(minecraft time). Once for one, twice for two,...etc. and once on the half hour. The system resets every morning, slightly after Steve would wake up. So if you sleep in a bed or leave the chunk loading area and come back, it will reset a few seconds after the time you would wake up the next day. The block of glass on the roof cannot be replaced with a solid block or the reset system will not work properly. "Night mode" can be activated by placing a piece of redstone dust under the day/night detector at the back of the clock. There is a sign there to assist. This silences the bird after sunset. It can drive you a little cuckoo after a while, ask me how I know. :D
I tried a lot of different ideas to get this to work properly. I tested this final design pretty extensively. I think its pretty fail safe. Please let me know if something breaks. Try to include any details you can remember.
