Hello again, and welcome back to another command creation! This one is a little different than the others in two major ways. First, it requires the download of function files into your Minecraft 1.12 world. Also, it requires the use of a generator. Enough vagueness though. Let's jump into it!

This time I've got a Custom Music Generator for Minecraft 1.12. It is multiplayer compatible and is user-friendly. Before going any further, I must explain though. The generator is not in Minecraft.

Where is the generator?
The generator is a program on Scratch that I made. All you have to do is install the functions in Minecraft and run commands generated by the Custom Music Generator. I have included some example songs for you to try out if you'd like. You can find them here.

I've made a song, but how do I play it?
When generating the command, click on the command block button in Scratch to generate the command. Then copy the text it gives you. Paste the command into a command block and activate it. If your world has the functions installed properly, the music will play for everyone.

How do I get the manual back if I lost it?
If you ever need the Custom Music Manual, run the following command: "/function classyelm_custom_music:get_book".

Where can I download the function files?
The world save download button is where you can get the function files from. Instructions for installing the functions are included in the download.

If you have any questions about this function command creation, feel free to ask in the comments or in a private message.
I made a form for you guys to fill out. This information is really important, so please fill it out!

After a bit of research, this would be possible, but definitely not with Scratch. While I could definitely do it, I'd need to work with some other programming language. This means I'd need to make a completely new generator for this, which I do not have the time to do. I am not saying that I will not make one though. The current one is slow, and it takes a while to load. I would like to make a new generator, but for now, the current one will have to do. For now, you'll just have to manually add the .midi file content into the generator. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmm. That's an interesting idea. I'll see what I can do.
