I used WorldPainter for this. Actually, all the pictures were taken in survival mode (I forgot to set the default gamemode to creative. You might have noticed the lack of birds-eye view pictures. Diamond if you like it, and happy crafting!

How much space is too much? QuickTimePlayer is free but a 20-minute movie takes up 1 GB of disc space. There's really no way to make a movie take up less space on a computer, other than shortening it. QuickTimePlayer does not make your game as laggy as Fraps.
