This is another project made for my custom terrain series. This one features a large valley with lots of rainforest type trees spread all along the bottom, a large mangrove tree in the center, a huge waterfall in the corner, a massive cave system through all the surrounding mountains and lots more.
I created the base terrain in the worldpainter program, spending most of the time trying to get the valley walls to look as realistic as possible. After the valley was all laid out I individually created around 20 different rainforest trees in another world save with the MCEdit forester script and saved each one into a schematic so I could hand place them into the valley.
1.0 Update
I've updated this again to include a new mushroom section, a fix to the snow problem, and lots of other small details across the map. See the update log for the full list of changes.

The total map size is 1024x1024, the size of the valley is around 450x550 and averages about 100m deep.

-Fixed the snow/ice seed problem.
-Added in a new mushroom biome section in one corner.
-Added some mushroom houses, huge mushrooms and a SUPER huge mushroom!
-New villagers added to some houses, huts and other random areas.
-Added melon tree patches around the valley.
-Updated the ruin "loot" to new enchanted items and potions.
-Added in new vines and lily pads to many places.
-Added a few blaze mob and other spawners inside the large lava cave.
-Changed all the old cobblestone ruins to the new stone brick blocks.
-Added an end portal down the hall from the nether one.
-Added a few new screenshots.
-Updated both download files.
-Added in a new mushroom biome section in one corner.
