This is a story map about the afterlife, and the atonement of one's crimes through mazes. Explore 9 unique mazes over the course of the map, accompanied by an engaging storyline!
Well, you died.
I know, it's a shock, and you're gonna need a moment to process it, but it's the truth: you're dead. It was a boating accident, you drowned, by the way. Not that it matters, because you're here now! The afterlife! I hate to say it, but because of your actions in life, you get a punishment in death: these mazes! Once you make it through all of them, you're free to go! Of course, they'll get harder and harder, but I believe in you! You can do it!
And now, for the rules:
First of all, try not to cheat! The dialogue will not trigger if you are in any mode other than adventure! Note: jumping is not cheating!
Secondly, please set your render distance to 20 or higher! Any lower, and the commands may not render...
Thirdly, make sure the resource pack is working! If you look out the window and see sea lanterns, it isnt.
Lastly, have fun!!! Why play the map if you aren't having fun?
And a couple extra things
This map is Not Multiplayer Compatible. Theoretically, you could, but only if you're comfortable teleporting to the other player. Also, if you are playing on a singleplayer world, the resource pack should be there already! Beyond that, I don't believe there's anything else you need to know!
Best of luck mispronouncing this going through this Daedalic Atonement!

Have something to say?
Small Note: Clouds should be off,
otherwise one of these mazes might be 'clouded', literally.
About the dialog command blocks:
Well, you could try to place them all in one specific chunk,
layer below layer, and then use /forceload add ~ ~ to mark
this chunk to be force-loaded.
A high render distance wouldn't be needed this way. Should be easy to do.
Thats. That's the point. What.
Dialog was slow
Yeah it's the optimal speed for the average player. Believe me, my reading speed is WAY faster, it pains me too, but half a second less and people start complaining about it being too fast. its frustrating.
Ending seems unfinished, just dialog while stuck in white void
Once again, that was the point. Dialogue in a white void was the goal.
Minimum render distance could be much lower if the command blocks were rearranged
That, yeah im terrible with arranging stuff lol. sorry bout that my dude.
Once again, redinator, my maps are simply not your style. if you dont enjoy them, no need to play em! Thanks for the feedback though!!
One of the best maps i have ever played yet.
Only thing that was bad imo was the vine one. That was no fun.
Good job on the map !
(and sorry about the vine one lol)
