Hey Everyone!

So this is a house that I built in a peaceful survival server. It might not look like a big house but it is built into the mountains so I had some room to play with.
It features a beautiful master bedroom and and outside garden too. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post as many pictures as I need into one project post so they have been split up into two other projects; Bedroom:Part Two and Cute Garden:Part Three.

Quick Note:
This build was built in survival with no mods or cheats

Thanks for reading!

Lots of Love! ^-^

Okay so I wanted to kinda of go over a few rooms in the house with you guys:

Entrance:
Most mountain entrances are just two doors. Spice it up a bit and add trees or something around it
to make it a little less plain. Doesn't have to be over the top just a little extra, all it takes is two seconds longer ;D

Main Room:
I know that big open spaces are intimidating when you want to decorate, so I believe that using glass panes or sugarcane is an easy way to break up the huge space without actually separating the room up. Just remember that when using sugar cane you need water next to it, so I put carpet over the water and over the living room area to make it flow a little better.

Chest Room:
Fortunately I built into a mountain so I did have some space to work with. However, when you're on a server that's already been up for a while finding a place can be hard and be craped when you have neighbors all around you like I had. So making the best out of the space you have is the best option. To do that instead of placing chests the normal way where it's two long (right to left) get trapped chests with your regular chests and place them 2 deep. It gives you twice the chest placing space without giving up storage. Another option is to do this but leave every other block empty and place a row of logs with a torch on the top log. This makes it look really nice without doing a lot to it.

Farms:
Believe it or not, but I had every farm you could think of growing in that house, even a vine farm. My suggestion is to make one place your "farm hall" or just an area where all your farms are that is close to where you are a lot so the food grows faster. I even kept my animals in the house next to those farms. If you're trying to fit a farm into your house but don't really know how to separate the area I would use columns. It gives a separate feeling to the farm and other space but doesn't make you go through the extra work of opening and closing doors all the time.

Hallway:
Origionally since I had a dark oak house I had a dark oak hallway. It looked smaller and darker to me and I hate that look. So I took the dark oak out and replaced it with leaves. It compliments any wooden style or dark house. It's so easy to get I mean two iron for a few stacks of leaves? that's great! and it looks really nice.

Fishing Room:
I had mobs most of the time. They creep me out when I'm concentration on something and I can hear them but I don't know where they are, but I also love fishing when it rains because it gives you a faster drop rate. So to avoid mobs I built an indoor fishing area. I hated having to play around with the line when it cought the back of the pond and didn't go in the water so I made it really long and two deep. After I realized I needed to actually be in rain in order to get faster drop rates so I dug up the mountain and built a huge wall on top so mobs couldn't fall into my little fishie spot. At the top I put torches on each block of the wall just to be extra careful that mobs won't spawn, and it looks really cool on maps!

Boat Room:
Since I built into the mountain I had a staircase that went up to my actual house that was dark oak, and along the staircase I had different rooms and such. Once of the rooms I had at the bottom of the staircase was a boat room. This way really awesome for night time when skeleton's kept trying to shoot me and zombies kept chasing me. I could just drive in, close the gate and I was already in my house. I highly recommend doing something similar.

P.S.
