The story starts off with David Redburn, a commanding officer of the special ops team "Foxtrot 1-0", who was ordered to be deployed in an unknown foreign country along with his entire team. David, in truth, has been dying for a "real" special mission that he has been training for. but he was warned that the mission is too dangerous, that there may be a slight chance that he won't come back home alive (same for his team too). But reluctantly, you went anyway.

the mission was to scout out the perimeters of a known "hostile" area, and from there, search and destroy any threat when sighted. From there, occupy the territory, then advance along the roads to clear out threats. When the country is finally in occupation, be advised that the "threat" will come back in stronger force. If this happens and the defense phase is successful, the country would then be freed from communism and most of the deployed soldiers can come back home.

You play as David Redburn, a man who mostly keep his fears to himself, and never ever let his team get in his way. Only problem is that (and no one knows, really) David is actually been "delivered" in that country and was mysteriously shipped out to another place. David, who soon realizes this swayed away from his mission and decides to find out what happened to his past life and why he never met his family. But when you and your team moves too deep into that situation, you would then found out you're not just fighting the aggressor of the country... but the biological creatures that is hungry to maul and eat in its path and alter the country into a living hell.
