Salutations Minecraftians. 

I'm a gap year student heading to university next year. Perhaps because of this I've found when I'm not consuming excessive alcohol training my liver for what's to come or working, I'm most likely playing minecaft. This happens to be my first project here on PMC and I hope to make it one that standards out amongst the rest. I'm currently building this on ravand.org using the conquest texture pack. 

I've got a few great people helping me with this project. Namely being my good friend Andrea (AKA AndJuice) who is responsible for so much, from telling me off when I'm slacking to the giant fucking arena in the screenshots :D Although we are the main project "leaders", a number of the servers renown architects are helping out when they aren't busy with their own projects, and have contributed with the work load. I'll provide a full credit list later.

Being a huge film nerd I've been inspired from so many movies in this build, such as Exodus Gods and Kings, The Life of Brian, Gladiator as well as the city Qarth from Game of Thrones. (Who isn't building Game of Thrones shit these days :P)
But also my inspiration extends to you guys. I've looked at so many similar desert cities which have inspired me to build this one. It's defiantly a hard style to make as 90% of the blocks in Minecraft are more... Fantasy medieval generic stuff. But I promise you guys a city that really does stand above the rest. Something that eventually will stand up high with the better builds of PMC (big words from a level 1)
