This is a desert palace, inspired by buildings from the ancient Persian city of Yazd. In the old days, wind towers were built to help bring in cooler winds located higher in the air. There was also an exit for hot air to leave the building, creating a pressure gradient. They also used water to help cool the air. underground wells and streams had air channels running down to them to help with cooling as well.
