[Dripith] Castle Drohym

Castle Drohym is the old seat of house Derbania. It is the oldest castle in the Icelands, which you can notice as the castle doesn’t have the defined gothic architecture that the newer castles have. The kings son (prince) is the one that lives at the castle and oversees the city and all of Derbania’s military campaigns. The castle started as a wooden fort built by Macrath. Over the rest of Macrath’s lifetime the fortress was built further. It was only after Macrath’s death that they built the chapel, to worship Macrath and house Derbania. At the foot of the hill that Drohym sits on a couple of villages settled. Those villages became a town and that town became the city of Badihr. Only years later they built the temple of Macrath.
