Dublin GPO
Built as a part of the MindRising 2016 project, this is a 1:1 recreation of Dublin General Post Office, Ireland, as it was in 1916.
The building played a key role in the Easter Rising of 1916, when the GPO served as headquarters of the uprising's leaders, before being destroyed by fire over the course of the rebellion.
MindRising 2016 is a competition celebrating 200 years of the island of Ireland. MindRising champions the use of digital technology in schools & groups. MindRising is about telling stories about our past and our future. Teams will work on their digital storytelling skills across a range of media which includes building elements of their projects in Minecraft. They are encouraged to remember the past 100 years and imagine what the next 100 years could bring.

I still love the build immensely, as I am a massive fan of classical and realistic architecture in mc. I was just slightly surprised that this is a 1:1 recreation :S
