The Due Torri or Two Tower, both leaning, are symbols of Bologna, in Italy, and the most prominent of the Towers of Bologna.
These towers may have been a competition between two families to show which was the most powerful, and were named after the families to whom their construction was attributed.
The taller one is called the Asinelli and the smaller tower the Garisenda.
They were constructed between 1109 and 1119.
