Here you have an egg farm I made in just 30 minutes. Its very efficent(more than10 eggs/minute) and with the chickenhead at the front it doesnt looks like shit XD. I hope you like it.
How does it works?
The chickens are in hole with water (mobs always try to swim) and they always are dropping eggs.. The water cant flow down because there are signs. Under the signs is a small 2-blocks-wide river wich flows to you.
